Draft · preview — pre-evidence-sprint. Every number below is reproducible on a live database.
Bangla-first · mobile-only · shop OS Live shops today

The whole shop — billing, stock, and the baki ledger — on the phone the owner already carries.

Every prior attempt to put Bangladesh's paper-run shops on software died on the same wall: nobody wants to type in their inventory. AyByay deletes that wall with AI — and unlike the pitch decks, it is already live, with real shops, on a phone, in Bangla.

jamaltara, July — proof of use

A party of one, honest: 0 shops pay yet — pre-revenue by design. The figures above are use and onboarding proof, not revenue.

Built, shipped, and provable

Six things that are already true

A full shop OS, already live

POS billing, stock, the baki credit ledger, customers and reports — one Bangla app, not a prototype or a slide.

AI does the data entry

A computerized shop's inventory maps from one export in a single session — banbro loaded 1,626 products and billed the same day, no typing.

Offline-first, for load-shedding

Bench-tested to 35 days without a connection; beta shops trade through hours of power cuts offline and sync when the line returns.

design capacity

Bangla-first, mobile-only

The whole OS in Bangla on a ~৳8,000 Android — no counter PC, no English, no hardware to buy on day one.

A 5M-listing catalog head start

A public + licensed product library so items fill themselves from a barcode instead of being typed — the ~84% public part is a cold-start head start, not a claimed moat.

Shipping, not vapour

Android in Google Play closed testing, a live tokenized demo shop anyone can open, encrypted auto-backups and ~90 modules running in production.

Proof, not promises

The honest funnel — every number survives a live query

We would rather show you a small, granular, reproducible picture than a rounded-up headline. Here is exactly what the database says.

0paying — this is what the seed buys

Active = at least one sale in the trailing 7 days. Pre-revenue by design; the two SSLCommerz rows in the table are sandbox test charges, never revenue.

Taka through the till

Active 17 of 30 days in July — honest cadence, not "daily for a month".

Built by manual entry, not the AI pipeline. 3 customers carry ৳585 in active baki (of 21 customers on file).

1,626 one session ৳5.04M at-cost, import day
2,163 catalog total, now grown since the import

A computerized shop's whole inventory AI-mapped from a PrimeERP export in one session, billing the same day. This is the migration proof — not a daily-use shop.

The category, honestly

Fragmented — not empty. The full shop OS is still unwon.

The ledger layer was already won by TallyKhata — which reports 5.5M businesses (~9.7M downloads) — but it deliberately stops at the khata: no billing, no barcode, no inventory. The full shop OS — POS + stock + baki + AI onboarding + offline, in Bangla, on the shopkeeper's phone — is still split between 1998-era desktop POS (Mediasoft, Smart Software, Nexchar, Shohoz) and sub-scale mobile challengers (Hishabee, HishabPati, banijjo — all pre-scale). AyByay is built to win that layer on execution, not on being first.

Proven at national scale todaynot yet

The honest gap: AyByay is not proven at scale yet — that is precisely what the raise exists to prove. The differentiation is offline-first, deeper AI onboarding, a shipped full stack and a 5M-listing catalog head start.

How you can help

We are raising a milestone-gated $150k–$300k seed

Not to scale — to answer the only two questions worth any money: will a paper shop pay ৳299 a month with no regulation forcing it, and will it stay? India proved shopkeepers adopt this explosively; no one in the category has yet returned venture capital. If you can do one of these, you move the story forward.

1

Introduce us to a seed investor

A warm intro to anyone who backs early emerging-market fintech or SMB software. The materials are humble on purpose — the honesty is the credibility.

2

Point us at one real shop

A shopkeeper you trust who would try billing from their phone. One filmed paper-shop onboarding is worth more than any slide.

3

Advise or red-team us

The numbers here were sharpened by adversarial review that caught our own errors. We want more of that, not less.

One shopkeeper built this to run his own shop. Help us find the next hundred.

Mustafa runs Mostofa Cloth Store on AyByay every day — the customer, the builder and the founder are one person. Two minutes on WhatsApp is the fastest way in.
